Il s'agit de la version 1,8 du Taron VL.
La cellule n'est pas couplée et indique un indice à reporter sur l'obturateur. Celui-ci dispose d'un couplage vitesse/ouverture donnant tous les couples correspondant. Ce système était très fréquent sur les premiers appareils à cellule non couplée.
Le VL est un très bel appareil dont la qualité de fabrication est excellente, il pèse 800 g.
